Compatibility, autofocus and focal length
This lens is constructed to fit all models of Canon cameras, regardless of camera model or type of sensor.
The possibility of using autofocus (AF) does not exist, since this lens only supports manual focusing.
The lens has a focal length of 17 mm. Depending on which camera the lens is used, the experienced and perceived focal length will be different. Please visit the list of compatible cameras below, it will provide the equivalent focal length you get on each camera.

Lens brightness and image stabilizer
The lens brightness and aperture value is f/4.
The lens is to considered fairly bright. This will make it so much easier shooting in darker environments where you do not want or can use flash lighting, for example in churches or at different sports venues.
The lens lacks image stabilization, which otherwise os good for avoiding the blur that can occur when using slow shutter speeds.
Filter and Lens Hood
This lens does not support the use of filters which is slightly negative. To have the option to use filters, for their optic purpose or as protection, would have been nice but no.
Together with the lens there is a lens hood included but we have unfortunately no further information on model etc so feel free to contact us if you know more.

TIPA Awards 2009: Best Professional Lens
The Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L has the widest view angle of any tilt and shift lens currently available for 35mm SLR cameras due to this it is the professional choice for architectural or landscape photography. The direction of the tilt and shift is independently of each other by mechanical rotation. The TS-E 17mm f/4L includes Canonīs sub-wavelength structure coating (SWC) minimising ghosting and flare caused by internal reflections.
